We welcomed our newest addition Alyssa Irene Hakes to our family on Sunday June 26, 2011. She was born at 4:40 am at MMC. She weighed 8lbs 4.2oz and was 18 3/4in long. Her blood type is O Negitive. I was so ready to not be pregnant any more that I was starting to feel like asking the midwives to induce me but I was actually really happy that she picked her own birthday! We named her Irene after Josh's Grandmother. Of course we were in the hospital until the very last second trying to pick the name. That is always the hardest part. We are very much loving having her home! Trying to figure out the new level of craziness it brings! We love you baby Alyssa!
