Father and Son Camp out August

At the beginning of August the Hakes group planned a Father's and Son's camp out. We had been telling Troy for quite some time that he need to be pooping in the potty everytime or he couldn't go. He was still having a little bit of a rough time with it but we really didnt want him to miss out so we decided to take him on the second of 3 days. He had such a good time. Troy sucked up and enjoyed every second of it. Josh said when they started packing up he was like, "Is that's it?"  (He wasn't ready for it to be over!) He got super dirty, well they both did.

Take me out to the Ball game

This summer Josh got a couple extra tickets to the diablos baseball game in El Paso so we invited Grandma and Grandpa. It was even more fun then we expected. They had of course fun snacks but the big surprise was that they had a huge jumping balloon and a swimming pool for anyone to use. Unfortunately we didn't bring suits but we stuck our legs in the pool. The kids has a lot of fun!

Sissy's Shoes

Please dont mins the mess in the background... This cute little sissy loves her fancy shoes. She loves wearing anyones cute or fancy looking shoes! She is so girly! It is really fun! Love this little cutie!

New Trampoline!

So a friend that we had know was moving and couldn't take there trampoline with them so they were hoping to sell it. I felt so lucky to be one of the first to see it and I was all over it. It was only 6 months old and they were asking about half price of what it's worth. ($125) It has been such a huge hit and the kids have loved it so much. We are so glad we got it! And I wish i would have gotten one sooner but it was good timing! (Josh and I had good bonding time assembling it! ha ha He's a trooper!)

Swimming Lssons

Just like last summer we did swim lessons at NMSU all summer. 9 weeks of lessons. It was a little much for Sissy. She is old enough now to be aware and really wanting to be swimming too nit not old enough to be reasoned with. Hailey and Troy loved every min of it and I'm just so impressed with all that they have learned and how well they have done. We have had some really great instructors and have loved going there! Can't wait til Alyssa is old enough to join in. (Next summer)

Troy's T-ball

This summer we, (At the last minute), signed Troy up for T-ball. He had a lot of fun and over the course of the summer grasped it much better. He made some good friends and had a lot of fun. His best bud was Uriah. We really wished we would have signed Hailey up too because they would have apparently been on the same team. Hailey really got into it too. We had games twice a week for 4 weeks and practices on saturdays. And about 2 weeks of practice before the games started. It was pretty fun. We think he will do better and understand it better by next summer!  (Picture over load)

4th of July

For 4th of July we went to Show low Arizona to Josh's Grandma's Cabin. Joe and Katie were also there and Grandma and grandpa Hakes, Great grandma Hakes, Kimball, Kalli, and Carrie. We did row boats, the girls went horsebacking, Josh and I got to go to a couple of movies, we went to a parade, watched fireworks and the kids played tons and tons outside and had such a blast! It is tight quarters but it is lots of fun and we had a ton of fun!! Never a dull moment!
