4th of July

For the 4th of July we first went to the light parade the night before. We were a little late and Hailey and Troy were a little disapointed but still had fun. Although I think it was not too bad that we were so late because it rained and rained and rained even through most of the parade. Next year I think we'll plan to go earlier though because they did love it.  On the 4th we went Swimming with the Hakes and a BBQ.  It was fun!  The kids sure love swimming!  It is fun to see there skills they have learned so far in swim class.

Then in the evening we went over to the Kohlers and had tasty chicken fajitas and then played at the near by park and then did fire works when it got dark.  We also stayed late enough to watch the city fireworks which is always pretty impressive.  The kids really liked doing fireworks.  It was a fun and exhausting day!!
