Alyssa 8 months (almost)

In a few days my baby will be 8 months old!  Oh how I love her!  She has a new "trick" where she will put her head on your shoulder to play or to act shy.  She had her first ear infection this last month along with a few bouts of pink eye! She is rolling like crazy, and inch maybe the tiniest bit, she says Da Da Da all day long. I'm ready for the ma ma ma!  She weighs about 19.5 lbs. This cutie pie had got some thunder thighs.  And it really really looks like she is going to be blue eyed!  WE HOPE!  She is officially weaned :(.  I feel so sad about that one.  My goal is always a year but due to infections and sores which I have the toughest time healing from while I'm still nursing/pumping along with random plug ducts I just couldn't take it anymore!  I'm sorry but I don't think anyone should live in consent pain so I felt okay about my decision and I really tried hard for as long as I could.  She switched over with pretty much no problems it just a little hard on the pocket book!  I was really grateful for pumping extra in the first few months, I had about 80 bags of milk so that came in handy.  I just wish I would have kept pumping once a day and I would have had double that.  Maybe on the next one!
