Alyssa 2 weeks old

WARNING: Picture Over load!

On July 1st we were admitted into the hospital because her Doctor didn't like her color or her weight and was certain that her levels had gone up for her jaundice. Sure enough it had and surprisingly the blue light treatment wasn't very bad at all. It's warm and cozy and apparently the babies love it, and so did Alyssa. I cried and cried that day because it's hard to hear that your baby is bad enough off that they need to go to the hospital but it really wasn't too bad. I guess a big part of her jaundice also is that she has "bruising" to work through, blood shot eyes and a big bump on her head from being pushed out so quickly. We were released like 7 hours later. (5 days old)

Okay this is my attempt at a baby photo shoot. Very fun, I wish I would have tried a little more with my other kids. I love this sweet girl she is so cute! This is her 2 weeks old. She is now 8 lbs 4.8 oz and 20.5 inches. She is doing good. And I think (Hope I don't jinx myself) she has been my easiest baby so far. She is doing really well a night, usually a 4 - 5 hour stretch and then usually a 3 hour stretch after that. We'll see if it continues but she is also very calm and easy going. I feel very blessed!










Hailey loves loves loves to hold her baby sister and is a great helper. She can't get enough of her.

I love this one. I had her undressed to get some sun and I found her sucking on her thumb. She has done this a few times. You can see her bump in this one. (10 days old)
