I felt very blessed to be at home with my kids and husband and Family on Easter! I've been nervous that at any point in time they might put me on Hospital bed rest. We had a little egg hunt and of course the Easter bunny came. And my parents came over and brought dinner! It was so Yummy. Karl was also there but Leslie didn't make it she wasn't feeling the best.

Baby Hakes update
At 28 weeks I went in to my Doctors office and my cervix had gone from 4cm to 2.3cm. Anything above a 3 is good. I went back 5 days later and it had gone down to 1.8cm. I have been contracting fairly regularly thoughout the day. So because of all that they decided to give me steroid injections for the baby's lungs. (One good side note is the my fetal fibernectin test came back negative which means I'm very unlikely of delivering for 2 more weeks, from 28 week appt You can google the test for more info.) They also put me on the drug called procardia to help my stop contracting or at least contract less. I've also been put on "Low activity" orders. Basically no going anywhere, stay off my feet, don't clean my house, just relax. (It's harder then you think) I cannot believe how much I took my other 'easier' pregnancies for granted. I'm 29 weeks and 5 days and I've never looked forward to 30 weeks so much in my life. Right now my goal would be at least 34 weeks but of course anything beyond that would be amazing. I am 31 days away from 34 weeks and it feels like an eternity. My next Doctors visit is on Tuesday and I'm so very interested to see what the out come of that is! Any and all prayers are greatly welcomed! Or happy thoughts or inspirational quotes or anything you've got! I'll keep you all posted as updates come in! We are just praying and hoping for a healthy baby!

Kohler Grandparents come for a visit
This post is long over due but at the beginning of the month my dad's parents came through for a visit. It was a quick stop of the trip but it was still great to see them. We went out to eat and then over to Karl and Leslie's for a visit. They left early the next morning. I feel very lucky we usually only get to see these grandparents about every 2 years but because of all the circumstances lately we've gotten to see them 3 times in the last 6 months. (Thanksgiving, Scott and Natalie's wedding, and this visit!) The recently got home from there 4th mission and probably last from Washington DC. They are such sweet grandparents and such good examples! We love them to pieces!

Little Stinker
I call Troy our "Little Stinker" all the time now because he has learned a few new tricks like teasing Hailey by spitting water at her, and he's also just so busy he usually getting into trouble. (It's really funny to me when I hear Hailey saying, "Mom, Troy is being a little stinker." He figured out yesterday that he could push the chair over the the counter and get to the candy stash. He did not hold back. He opened like 5 suckers and was joyfully switching out his flavor choices. He was very shocked when I walked out and said "Uh-Oh". He jumped! It was so cute but now I have to find a new place to hide it all!

Sick
Troy was sick 2 weekends ago with a fever that lasted a few days then Hailey was sick last week with a fever that just raged on and on. Today was the 6th day of fever. The highest it got was 104. We took her in on Monday to the after hours clinic and they couldn't find anything. Strep test was negative. Then we went back in on Wednesday and her strep test was positive. We started her on antibiotic today but she really has had the worst of it. Luckily we have kept her home from pretty much everything including church, preschool, and a friend's party and playing with neighbor kids. (Lucky for everyone else.)
