Troy gets a big boo boo

So Hailey and Troy were not getting along, that never happens... but anyway, Hailey gave Troy a really good push and his face went down to the edge of the wooden T.V. stand. Split open his forehead really good. We have the best neighbors who offered to watch Hailey and Alyssa while we went to the doctors office.  (They also cleaned up his face and bandaged it shut, they are both nurses.  I love them so much!)  We debated between urgent care and ER like crazy but opted for urgent care. I don't know if I'd say that was a good choice or not. They were in no hurry to take care of us and turned out they did not have any glue for his cut or steri-stripes. So we had to go to another urgent care where they could find any glue either but at the last second did and the 1st charged our insurance even though they did not provide us with any services. So frustrating!! In the end it worked out. Troy needed to leave his tape alone for about a week but he couldn't do that and about by day three and it opened up and festered underneath the band aid. We had to take him back into his pediatrician and she took off what was left of the strip and applied a new one. She told us it would probably leave a pretty good scare and it did. Anyway it was a learning experience and hopefully we don't have to do anything like that again. I do have hope that with time his scare will fade a lot!  Poor boy he hates going to the Doctor and had to go a ton between this and dental work and what not!
