Alyssa 15 months
On September 27, Alyssa went in for her 15 month check up. Her height was 31 inches (70th percentile) Weight was 23 lbs (80th percentile) and her head I just got the percentile which was 55th. She had to get 4 more shots including the flu shot. The other 2 big kids got vaccinated at school so hopefully we are covered this winter. Alyssa has more personality coming out all the time. She will often show her discontent to something by making a grunting noise. She uses the word Uh-Oh with great confidence. She also uses the word DaDa with ease. Also says "hi" from time to time. She doesn't say much else right now so we are going to keep an eye on it. The pediatrician said she should have 3 words right now and 7 by the time she is 18 months and know her body parts. Josh has started teaching her nose, eyes, mouth. She mostly just gets nose. He is such a good daddy he does want her to be behind so he works on it with her. Love him! She also said to make sure we are reading to her, I think I forget from time to time how important and good for kids it is to read to them! We have been slacking in that department with her so we are doing better now. She still loves her pacie, Pacifer, and she also point to show us what she wants. She has also recently started nodding when we are doing something that she likes. I think it is so cute! Her hair looks pretty curly when it is wet or gelled. Alyssa loves to climb on the chairs and table and also is into everything. Also she not the shopping buddy she use to be now she'd like to take off and have me chase her around the store so not the most effecient. We still love to call her Sissy.
