Candy
Sunday morning we are almost ready to get in the car and Hailey asks me if she can have a blue candy she found in the car. I tell her no and to go get in her car seat and figure she cannot open an air head by herself. So I get my stuff and get in the car and the first thing Hailey says to me is, "I didn't eat nothing." Suspicious. I look back to see blue on her lips, teeth, and face. So I ask her again did you eat something and she says no. Now I've learned in my child development classes that children don't have the mental capacity to lie until they are four but I guess my child is advanced in that area but that is not a good thing. I decided it was too cute of a moment to not catch on camera but after I'd had a laugh she was a little grumpy about it. What a cute stinker!

haha! Maybe they can lie, but they don't realize they are lying. She is super cute too boot, and I love your little man, in his seat peeking out, in the background of the pictures.
ReplyDeleteToo cute!
Soo cute!! Liar liar pants on fire:) How could you be mad at that face! That will be a fun story to tell her when she is older!! I can't wait to see her!

ReplyDeleteHehehe...I am excited that you will be in St. George for Thanksgiving! St. George is about 3-4 hours from SLC. Kelissa (you remember her right?) is getting married in SLC the day after Thanksgiving so I will be around then. I don't knnow how all that timing will work out, but we should def. try to get together if possible!!
I've truly learned there is no candy package that is toddler proof! Too cute, glad she didn't get her dress ;)
