Happy first Birthday Troy!!! 6/28/10

Troy loves this car with a passion! He doesn't really get it moving too much but he loves to get in and out and honk the horn and play with the steering wheel and key!





Troy turned 1-year-old today!! I feel like that is such an exciting Birthday because they are a little less baby and a little more toddler. You can tell people that they are one instead of age by months. Although I feel like he's a little more grown up he still seems like such a baby to me. A little more babyish then Hailey was at one and maybe partly because I'm kinda comparing him to a 3-year-old or it's hard to remember exactly what she was like 2 and 1/2 years ago. We love Troy so much. This boy truly melts my heart on a daily basis. We had some babysitters on Saturday that were unfamiliar and he was tired and sad when I got there and then as soon as I went to hold him he put his head down on my shoulder and put his arms around me and stopped crying! So sweet. Also I feel like just about every time I go to get him up from a nap or in the morning he's so excited to see me/us(Hailey likes to come in too) and usually gives me a good squeeze (Hug)! Tonight we had a little celebration in honor of Troy's Birthday. I especially like having it on his actual Birthday. We had planned to play at the park and I was very excited about this idea but the weather had it's own agenda. (Rain of course in New Mexico... how random!) So we took the party to our house and we were pleasantly surprised with the turn out! It was a lot of fun! Sometimes parties stress me out but this one was pretty low key/low stress so it was lots of fun!

And this is why I HATE Styrofoam! Awesome Troy excitedly ripped it into tiny pieces and the stuff floats every where! Hailey also enjoyed breaking into tiny pieces. (This didn't happen at the party just another night.)
